Red-Shift is my Half-Life: 1 retro style shooter game. It is mainly being made to exist on the porfolio as a playable demo, and is built off the knowledge I learned when making the Half-Life: 2 systems.

Using State Trees, I created a team based AI system that allows for complex scenarios with multiple different factions of enemies. Each NPC can react to other teams differently, like the zombies who slowly walk towards their foe, whilst scientists flee in fear.

A part of a test level I made to experiment with the game's visual style, along with trying out a plugin called Scythe.

Characters have either a male skeleton or female skeleton, which allows me to re-use animations between the genders. So the security guards and scientists can share animations.
